Over 20 years ago, Hobie revolutionized kayak fishing with the introduction of the MirageDrive pedal system.Through constant innovation the MirageDrive has evolved over the years, continuing Hobie's dominance in the pedal kayak market.
Announcing the new MirageDrive 360 with Kick-Up Fins that is taking the future of kayaking in a new direction - forward, backward, sideways and every degree in between.
The Mirage 360 will only be available on the PA12 and PA14 models for 2020. Expected release is October / November 2019, so only a few months away!

This year will see the return to the City of the Adelaide Boat Show, to be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from the 28th to 30th.
Binks Marine and Hobie will be there with a great display of the Hobie Kayak and Hobie SUP range.
The all new Hobie Passport will also be making it's first Adelaide appearance. Designed as an entry level Hobie kayak, the Passport offers a good sized single person hull with the inclusion of the game changing Hobie Mirage Drive foot propulsion system. At just $1990, it's a great way to start your Hobie experience.
With a large pool available for demo, this would be the perfect opportunity to try a Hobie and get a feel for the speed and ease of use of the Mirage Drive foot propulsion system.
The show is open Friday and Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children between 5 and 7 years, with kids under 5 free. Want to pop in after work? Tickets are just $5 after 5pm!

Developed by some of the world's best watermen and women, the Naish range is at the cutting edge of foiling technology.
Naish Foiling equipment covers all of the major foiling disciplines: Wind-foiling, Kite-foiling, Surf and SUP-foiling and Wake-foiling.
Whether you're just starting out or an experienced foiler naish have you covered. They also have boards suitable for both foiling and non-foiling use and boards that crossover with other disciplines, allowing you to use 1 board for a variety of sports.
Naish's Thrust foiling are specifically designed for each foiling discipline. The are made from a aircraft grade 6061 aluminium and feature fiberglass compositie wings. Tuttle box adaptors are available, allowing the foil to fit boards fitted with this type of fin box without any board modifications.
Surf and SUP-foiling
A very wide range of surf and SUP boards are available. Most of the range are able to be used foiling or non-foiling and the Hover 120 Crossover can also be used as a foiling or non-foiling windsurfing board.
Wind-foiling
3 boards in the wind-foiling range. The Hover 120 Crossover can also be used as a SUP. The Hover Titan 120 an also be used as a traditional windsurf board.
Kite-foiling
Another extensive range of boards from Beginer to speed race boards. The Hover 155 and Hover 160 can be used as non-foil kiteboards or wakesurf boards.
Wake-foiling
The Hover 155 can be used as foiling board, skimboard or as a wakesurf board, making it very versitile and a lot of fun behind the boat.

The compass has been designed to fill the entry level Mirage Kayak market, whilst still maintaining Hobie's renowned performance and quality. The compass takes it's design cues from the Revolution and Pro Angler range of kayaks providing a fast, comfortable and stable platform for either fishing or paddling.
The Compass features a Hobie Glide Technology Mirage Drive, two molded-in rod holders behind the seat, a molded deck cup holder, two recessed H-Track gear tracks and a single 8-inch Twist-and-Seal hatch forward of the seat. The front storage area cloth covered front storage area which is the right size to fit a Hobie cooler, or the possible installation of a storage hatch.
The Hobie Compass is a relatively light weight kayak coming with a fitted hull weight of 31kg's. It is also has a compact length of 12ft or 3.66m, both a which should make the compass easy to handle on and off the water.
We are expecting the compass to be available later in the year and we will od course keep you updated on availability and the price once this is released. In the mean time please feel free to contact us showing your interest so you can the the first to own one in South Australia.
