A ridge of high pressure lies south of the Bight, with a centre of high pressure developing there on Tuesday. This high will then move southeastwards, reaching Tasmania on Wednesday morning.

Winds: South to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots, easing to 10 to 15 knots by dawn, tending south to southwesterly late morning, increasing to 15 to 20 knots in the middle of the day and reaching 20 to 25 knots north of Port Noarlunga mid afternoon, then tending south to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots in the evening.
Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing below 1 metre during the morning, then increasing to 1 to 2 metres during the afternoon.
