Weather Situation
A weak trough will extend along the western coast and Eyre Peninsula today before dissipating in the evening ahead of a cold front that will move across the state during Saturday. Another front will move across the southeast of the State on Sunday, then a ridge of high pressure will move over the west on Monday.

 

Forecast for Friday 22 September until midnight
Winds: North to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots becoming north to northwesterly
about 10 knots in the middle of the day then becoming east to southeasterly in the late evening.

Seas: Below 1 metre.

Swell: West to southwesterly below 0.5 metres.

Weather: Sunny.

Strong Wind Warning for Saturday for Adelaide Metropolitan Waters
Winds: East to northeasterly about 10 knots becoming west to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots early in the morning then tending west to northwesterly 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon. Winds reaching 20 to 30 knots in the evening.

Seas: Below 1 metre, increasing to 2 to 3 metres during the afternoon.

Swell: West to southwesterly below 0.5 metres.
