Purbond Adhesive

Purbond is an adhesive for bonding timber, semiporous and nonporous surfaces.

Once you experience it's superior adhesive qualities were a strong easy to work bond is required you will throw glues like PVA and aquahere away.

Features of Purbond are:

• High adhesive strength
• No long term creep in stressed joints
• Suitable for use on damp surfaces
• Can be applied direct from the bottle
• Application is to one surface only, coverage 200 - 250 ml per square meter
• 100% waterproof, withstands 72 hour boiling water test
• Sets in 2 - 4 hours, fully cured in 12 - 24 hours
• Invisible in close fitting glue lines
• Contains no volatile or flammable ingredients
• Sands easily and does not blunt cutting tools
• Better Bond if moisture applied to surfaces being glued
• Will gap fill but has no strength where gaps is present

Purbond will stick to almost anything except poly plastics.

It will successfully glue:

• Aluminium
• Rubber
• Timber including oily and oxidising timbers such as teak, jarrah, Eucalyptus.
• Foam
• Stainless steel
• Brick and Concrete
