Ronstans range of Acetal sheaves is moulded from specially modified ultra-violet resistant grade of material to provide a long service life in the tough marine environment. Acetal sheaves with ball bearings provide the lowest friction. The ball bearings are made from Delrin, a high compressive strength form of Acetal although the load capacity is lower than that of the other sheave types.
